About Integrated MS Windows Authentication
Integrated MS Windows Authentication allows a browser to prompt the user for credentials. Trust Protection Platform uses those credentials to log in to its web console. It's possible to configure the user's browser to not prompt for credentials and to instead use the credentials of the Windows user that is logged in to the web consoles.
You can use Windows Integrated Authentication when the web console runs on a Windows Server that is part of a Microsoft Active Directory Domain.
Limitations
- Trust Protection Platform must be a member of your Windows domain.
- Windows Authentication is not compatible with LDAP or local drivers.
